  50.       Make sure that there are no TSR programs in memory and you have
  51.       at least 128K of free memory available.
  52.  
  53.       Terminate and Stay Resident (TSR) programs running at the same
  54.       time could distort, muffle, or slow your PC speaker operation.
  55.  
  56.       Low volume on the speaker could also be caused by an inexpensive
  57.       ceramic speaker in a bad location on the motherboard or the speaker
  58.       is in a bad location in your CPU.
  59.  
  60.       If Windows is running in 386 Enhanced mode, you will need to set
  61.       the Tasking Option or Execution to EXCLUSIVE.  The sound output
  62.       may be slow if this option is not set.  Another method is to TYPE
  63.       IN "WIN /S" when you start windows.  This disables the multitasking
  64.       mode.
